Some scholars have hypothesised that the figures seen here
are
singers accompanying the other musicians in room 1.
The second figure from the right is holding a staff or "baton"
over his head.
Another possibility is that these individuals were part of a ritual procession
that was accompanied by the musicians on the other side of the room.
