Bonampak Room 2 |
Room 2 is dominated by a very active and confusing depiction
of war.
Most of the battle scenes are not easy to photograph,
but here you can see a captive (center) being held by the hair.
A warrior clad in a jaguar pelt (center left) holds the captive,
with his lance poised in a threatening position.
This warrior is thought to be the ruler of Bonampak, Chan Muan.
