Tennoned Serpent Heads
These naturalistic serpent heads are attached to long tennoned blocks
which would have been placed into the façade of a structure.
As with the red pigment of the previous artifacts,
these serpent heads give you an indication of the
extensive decorations that once adorned most structures at Xochicalco.
