Glyph A17 was the name of the moon   --  Schele, 1988 Glyph B (the rabbit was in the moon)    --  Robertson, 1985

"Glyph B is very similar to another glyph that has been identified at Copan and elsewhere as a closure for proper names reading something like 'its name was'. This may be the function of Glyph B in the Lunar Series also (Schele, 1988)."
