| Here is a photograph of Casper's name and title from the inscription. Due to the erosion of the stone, the superfix above the head on the left doesn't look very much like either a pi or a ch'a, except to the eye of an experienced epigrapher like Simon Martin. (Peter Mathews and Stanley Guenter have confirmed the reading [Stanley Guenter, personal communication, 2001].) Presumably the main sign is the head variant for the "ghost" glyph. |
