| In the main inscription of the monument, the "Casper" name recurs, this time in the context of supervising a ritual in the year 252 B.C. Here we see the head variant of the "Casper" name on the left (again prefixed by ch'a) and the Palenque emblem glyph on the right. Needless to say, this is not the ruler that we have been discussing, nor is it likely to be a truly historical ruler of Palenque, given the date in the Preclassic period. |
