Here is a portrait of K'an Joy Chitam I from the west side of the Sarcophagus of K'inich Janahb' Pakal. He can be identified by his peccary (chitam) headdress, with a k'an cross in the eye. Also his name appears in a hieroglyphic caption, followed by the rabbit-skull variant of the Palenque emblem glyph. (See drawing.)
