| The date of Lord Chan-Bahlum's birth is recorded twice in the Palenque inscriptions. Twice with Lord Shield Pacal texts there is a Distance Number leading directly from his birth date to that of his accession: one of those (the Hieroglyphic Stairway, A1-B12) had 'birth' clearly recorded after the Initial Series date and before the Distance Number leading from it to the accession date. * |
