This well preserved vase shows a crudely etched scene involving humans and animals. Parts of the surface of the vase have been carved out and the upper section has been left as a smooth band for the etching of a series of pseudo-glyphs that may have marked it both as the work of an illiterate artist and as a piece intended for use by a non-elite, illiterate social class.
