Temple XX in the rain.

Terrace wall on west side of Temple XX. This shows the size of the terraces. With further terraces being revealed on the north side, Temple XX will present a new appearance next time you visit.

We have hit bedrock under several of the terraces. It looks like the Maya shaped the bases of the terraces from the bedrock and then continued building with limestone blocks until they got the height that they wanted.
