This is a view looking up to the summit of the Temple XX pyramid. As you can see, there is quite a bit of jungle to be cleared off as we set about excavating and consolidating the substructure. Temple XX holds the brightly frescoed tomb that we discovered in 1999.

Here's our crew at work clearing the sides of the Temple XX pyramid.

This is a view looking down from the top of the pyramid. We've had to clear off a good portion of this jungle to get at the architecture.

Our crew clears off the jungle covering the pyramid.

Here we are at work excavating the substructure of the pyramid.
